Jonathon Ennis, Founder

15+ years in healthcare. Helping others steward their health has always been my work. I’m here to walk a Christ-centered path of wellness with you—honestly and faithfully.

I am a certified Physician Assistant with over fifteen years of hands-on experience in healthcare. I arrived here because God placed a burden on my heart to reduce suffering, which first led me to serve as a paramedic—meeting people in moments of crisis, pain, and urgency.

Through that work, one truth became clear very quickly: the greatest good I could offer was not only responding to emergencies, but helping people prevent them in the first place. That realization—along with the encouragement of those who saw a greater calling in me, especially my wife, my most faithful supporter—led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies and step into a new role caring for people with chronic conditions and long-term health challenges.

Over the years, I’ve found that much of my work has centered on teaching deceptively simple principles of healthy living—things many people have never been taught to steward well. Beyond medical knowledge, the most valuable thing I’ve been able to offer is clarity: helping people understand what truly matters, so they can take responsibility, build strong roots, and live more faithfully.

Everything else has been a distraction.

Dream Root Wellness exists to cut through that noise—to offer clear, practical, Christ-centered guidance that helps individuals and families steward their health with integrity, wisdom, discipline, and perseverance.

This work isn’t about optimization or self-improvement. It’s about living rightly, reducing unnecessary suffering, and bearing fruit that lasts.

What I believe

Wellness Is a Way of Life

Wellness is not something you think about or optimize—it is something you live.

True wellness is embodied daily through obedience, stewardship, and faithfulness, not information alone.

Growth Requires Intentional Discipline

Left to ourselves, we choose comfort over formation.

Growth does not happen accidentally—it requires effort, structure, and the willingness to do what is right even when it is hard

Our Lives Are Meant to Bear Fruit

God created us with purpose and responsibility.

When we order our lives rightly and steward what He has entrusted to us, growth follows—and that growth is meant to bless others, not glorify self.
